The news of Klaus being gone was...rougher than Diego might have expected. He hasn't been in a good place with Klaus for awhile now, their last fight fell into really awful territory, especially toward the end, and he hadn't really taken the time to start fixing anything with him. Diego just assumed there would be more time, they were in the last world for months... he thought it would be the same here.
But maybe the incident is good for the relationships he has (or doesn't have) with the rest of his siblings, because the whole thing really spurs him into action. Particularly, with Vanya. They have made plans of watching a movie together repeatedly at this point and it still hasn't happened.
Well, tonight it is. Diego has decided, and he's set everything up fora movie night: Nearly a dozen movies, all of varying years and genres; popcorn and other essential movie-snacks; and a bottle of tequila. He hopes she either likes tequila or has her own alcohol of choice on hand.
That evening, he shows up with everything and knocks on her apartment door.
